Dr. Jelena Mustapic
Licensed Psychologist and Psychotherapist Ph.D.

I have over 20 years of clinical experience in the field of psychotherapy and psychology. As a licensed psychologist and gestalt therapist, I worked in different settings including psychiatric hospitals, a community-based mental health organization, prison/forensic setting, educational institutions, and counseling centers.
I have a natural passion for helping people get over their difficulties and, thus, live a happier and more fulfilling life. I use a holistic approach to mental health to help clients of different ages and cultural backgrounds overcome a wide array of psychological problems, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, life transitions, complex trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, and loss and bereavement.
I also have a vast experience in conducting psychological evaluations (including psychoeducational assessments) to diagnose and treat conditions such as ADHD, learning difficulties, and mood and personality disorders. Before my career as a psychologist, I earned a Ph.D. in Biomedicine and Health Sciences; a Master Practitioner Diploma in Eating Disorders & Obesity from National Centre For Eating Disorders (NCFED), UK, and a Certificate in Hypnotherapy from the College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy, London, UK.
Having completed my training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy with EMDR Extra, London, UK, I currently seek to become an Accredited EMDR Practitioner. I usually take an integrative approach to therapy, involving integrative gestalt therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), flash technique, mindfulness, and hypnotherapy.
