The Legacy of Our Name:

The Story of Fawzia Sultan

A legacy rooted in education, care, and service to the community

Our Story Begins

The FSHN name is built upon a legacy of vision, integrity, and a deep commitment to the community of Kuwait. Our story begins with the shared dreams of the late Fawzia H. Sultan and Fawzi M. Al-Saleh, whose life’s work was dedicated to the belief that education and healthcare are not just services, but essential foundations for shaping character and serving future generations.

In 1993, Fawzi Musaed Al-Saleh founded the Fawzia Sultan International School in honor of his late wife, Fawzia, after identifying a critical need to support special education in the region. This mission of inclusion and excellence soon expanded into the world of healthcare. Guided by the principle that those who care for others deserve environments that honor their dignity and safety, he ensured that the healthcare initiatives under the Fawzia Sultan name were equipped with world-class facilities and a clear vision for growth.

Today, FSHN stands as a vital part of this enduring legacy. Our network is a living tribute to a couple who believed that their responsibility to the community outweighed any desire for recognition. We remain steadfast in the mission they established: providing high-quality, inclusive care rooted in family values and professional excellence.

As we look to the future, we are guided by the words of Fawzia H. Sultan herself:

“People come, people go, the spirit of the school will continue, the goals and the objectives as defined in the school philosophy will still be pursued.”

At FSHN, that spirit lives on through every patient we treat and every life we touch, as we continue to advance the principles of care and service upon which we were founded.
