Kurt Dixon

Consultant

Kurt Dixon is an HPCSA-registered professional with an advanced degree in behavioral and research studies. He has extensive experience across specialized care facilities, outpatient centers, and community-based settings. His integrative practice combines insight-oriented advisory with practical, skill-based frameworks such as behavioral tools (DBT), mindfulness techniques, and specialized training in Brain Working Recursive Coaching (BWRT). Kurt provides consultations for older adolescents and adults and is currently completing advanced certification in Imago Relationship Coaching. He has a particular interest in supporting men navigating the pressures and transitions of modern masculinity. He is committed to helping individuals build self-awareness and resilience to navigate challenges and achieve lasting well-being in their personal lives and relationships.

A Global & Culturally-Attuned Perspective

Kurt’s approach is shaped by years of work both in diverse community settings in South Africa and with a global clientele across various cultures, faiths, and identities. He understands how broader context—not just personal history—creates complex challenges that impact overall well-being. This includes extensive experience supporting individuals through high-impact stress and life challenges, conditions deeply influenced by significant life events and environmental context. He recognizes how identity, culture, and social dynamics intersect with personal growth and is dedicated to creating a non-judgmental space where each individual’s unique story is heard. Consultative support is tailored using proven strategies suited to the individual.

Commitment to Access

Believing that emotional well-being is essential for healthy individuals, families, and communities, Kurt remains actively involved in providing consultation and pro-bono services to under-resourced communities in South Africa. He upholds the principle that everyone should have access to quality supportive care and personal development services.
